The nest of eagles is located on the island of Smola.
The municipality of Smola is located north of the town of Kristiansund, outside the west coast of Norway. The village consists of the main island of Smola and more than 3000 smaller. 214 square kilometers. The main island is very flat, the highest peak reaching 63 m (207 ft) above sea level.
On the island of Smola is the densest population of nesting sea eagles in the wider world.Therefore, ornithologists have decided to place the camera and follow the course of nesting.Smola is the ideal place!
In the area where the nest is nesting more than 50 pairs of sea eagles.The Norwegian population currently includes around 3500 breeding pairs.
