Napajedlo Tembe Elephant Park - description
The camera is located next to the watering can in an area that was once an ancient "ivory track" linking Mozambique and Zululand. The park is known for having the largest elephants in Africa and on the planet. The park lies deep in the sandy forests and wetlands in northern Tongalanda, right on the border between KwaZulu-Natal and Mozambique. Together with the elephants, you can see the big five, lions, leopards, black and white rhinos and buffaloes. Also, the smallest antelopes - the mushroom antelope and other magnificent animals and the 340 species of birds - come to the water jump several times a day. The park consists mainly of closed forests, but offers a wide variety of vegetation, situated in the transition zone between tropical and subtropical forms.
