Orlovec river - description
Webcam from the nest orlovce říční offers a view of two occupied nests. We recommend turning on the sound, orbits often show sharp whistles, typical for them.
The Orlovec River is a medium-sized bird from the orbital family. It achieves lengths 55-58 centimeters. The wingspan is 145-170 centimeters. Orlovec lives mostly in the vicinity of the sea coast, the lakes and larger rivers. Its food consists of 99% of fish that fish on the water surface. Nest orbits often occupy other birds of prey that are placed on the highest trees. Both parents, but above all the females, sit on the eggs. The male feeds on the nest. Orlovci sits on eggs 35 to 38 days. Young orbits from the nest fly out at the age of 50 to 60 days.

10:20 SEČ dole nový přísun. Sameček se překonává. Akorát rybu „picnul“ na mladé a pak menšímu šlápl na hlavičku. Ale zdá se, že se z toho vzpamatuje. Být za živa roztrhán a sežrán asi není příjemná smrt :). Spodní samička má celkem smyl pro rovnováhu, snaží se dostatečně vyživovat menšího potomka.

Pěkné ráno. Dnes to všude vypadá dobře. Slunečno, dolní samička při krmení cca v 8:10 SEČ (min. druhé krmení dnešního dne), se snažila živit menší mládě, i když to starší/větší se po soustech natahovalo. Sameček se dokonce chvíli zdržel, obhlédl potomstvo a trochu opravil „bejvák“. Akorát je to asi hrozný skrblík, nebo lovec nešika. Opět odnesl zbytek ryby (všimla jsem si toho již dříve), jako by si neuměl ulovit jinou a nenechal ji raději samici a mladým, když bude mít s dalším přísunem zpoždění, aby nemusela zase zoufale volat a dlouho čekat.

To bylo myšleno určitě dobře, jen nesprávně formulováno. Chtělo by to zavřít „smajlí oko“ :). Důležité je to zaujetí, uchvácení úžasnou přírodou.

Také jsem si říkala, zda to dokáže spravedlivě podělit. Zatím jsem si všimla, že ptačí mláďata jsou krmena dle své průbojnosti. To druhé bylo dlouhý čas otočené k samci, jenž jen „dotvářel atmosféru“. Až se zpožděním asi vycítilo, že příděl je na druhé straně. Je mi líto té spodní, zoufalé, vč. mláděte. Od rána asi jen jedno krmení a přitom tolikrát už volala. Snaží se hlad zaspat. Musím nyní své pozorovací stanoviště opustit, ale doufám, že až se vrátím, bud si moci přečíst dobrou zprávu, že to sameček spodního hnízda dohnal. Je mi jí líto.

Krásné ráno, alespoň tak to vypadá na horní kameře. Dnes samička opustila ráno cca na 10 min. Nejprve byla pryč 2-3 minuty, jako obvykle, pak proběhla kontrola a když bylo vše OK, tak si „orazila“ ještě tak na 7 minut. Kolem 7 hodiny vstala a hlasitě komunikovala. Přibližně do 5 min. přiletěl partner a pozoroval mladé. Moc hezké! A dole klid, ale i samota.

Viděl jsem včera odpoledne, když se snažil dostat k mláděti, jak na něj několikrát šlápnul a vždy uskočil, jako když šlápne „do ohně“. Ale asi to zvoral a nemělo šanci to přežít. 🙁
