Osprey - Port Lincoln, South Australia
River ore - description
A nest of Osprey is located at Lincoln Cove in Port Lincoln, South Australia. Calypso Star Charters (Shark Cage Diving) partially sponsors this nest, so the camera is connected to their WiFi and broadcast to an office in sight. The most interesting events of the day are then recorded several times a day on Facebook.

Discussion
25.10. camera time 18.01.- Dew, Solly and female very close. 17.44.- Solly…
22.10 - The whole family sleeps on the nest
20.10. camera time 16.46.- feeding begins. 16.50.35.- Dew is very careful 17.06.- Solly is finally eaten, the younger one is already quite hungry.
16.10 transmission online again!
16.10. camera time 16.55.- the male arrives with the fish, feeding. 16.52., 17.40.- I don't want to be unfair, but it's probably still a creature Solly. The young grow nicely, they have food, hopefully it will be calmer in time.
15.10 Unfortunately, the transmission has not been working since morning, they are said to be working on the repair.
13.10. camera time 15.24.- chicks grow beautifully- close-ups. You can see what their claws are 🙂 Thank you Petro, for all your answers (for albatross, yesterday owls and storks in Germany). I always read everything and follow the comments that appear in the discussion, what's new 🙂 Have a nice day 🙂
Hello Marcelo, you're welcome. I also wish you a nice day
11.10 - 07:32 Tabs is giving up, he's very weak, he's not even trying to get to eat
12.10. camera time 15.00- feeding Solly and Dew up close. Taps 🙁 🙁
10.10. camera time 15.14. Little Taps went around the nest, the older chick attacks him for no reason for several minutes. 16.38.09- he pecks at him raw again. He is small, he can't defend himself, you can see that he is afraid 🙁 I wish him very much to grow fast to handle everything.
6.10. camera time 17.10.- close feeding. I think little Taps is doing well. The female also fed the young with the shell of their egg, probably because of the calcium.
Have a nice Sunday 4.10.- World Animal Day 🙂 Camera time 13.17.- feeding, Tapsík should shout more for food. Today they don't have nice weather there, the female is warming her young, the poor man is soaked.
1.10 - 10:45 Solly and Dew fought again
1.10. camera time 14.01.17.- little Taps falls upside down, sometimes the female holds his food by the beak and he doesn't take it. The siblings treat him well, so I think he can handle it all. Everyone was already toddling around the nest, recently the male wrapped his foot a little in the rope, it took a little time to get rid of it. The chicks are very pretty 🙂 Once again, thank you very much Petro for the detailed description of the vulture's nest.
29.9 at 16:25:45 the male brought live fish, feeding, the raining female is all soaked
29.9. - 06:09:30 Dad brought a nice fish, feeding squirts, at 07:02:35 another nice fish and feeding
29.9. camera time 11.01.-older cubs Solly and Dew are fighting awkwardly.
25.9. camera time 10.46- the cubs are nice to see with you, but I only know the smallest crumb 🙂 12.00 feeding up close. It's okay here so far, Taps is screaming for food, it won't be easy, I'll have "nerves" zvlád to handle it.
24.9 - Port Lincoln Osprey Update We named 3 cubs! The oldest is Solly, named after a photographer who gives us some of the amazing photos you see on Facebook and in any articles. The second is DEW named after the Ministry of Environment and Water, because without them we would never have received permission to zone (and perhaps) monitor these eagles. The third is Taps, named after Graham Tapley, that's his nickname - for two reasons - the first is without his help we wouldn't have a camera on Thistle Island watching this nest, and also because he's a twin - and he was born... read more
24.9. - 20:01:14 the third squirrel is almost out of the shell
24.9. camera time 13.56- shot of the nest where both parents are. Then a close-up shot of a tiny eagle 🙂 🙂 and feeding. They are out to the world! Egg nothing… I do not know hatching, but it seems to me for a long time.
Hello Marcelo, she still has the third egg time, she can also see the movement at 13:57: on the right side the chick raises the shell. The difference between the first and third eggs in the laying is 6 days. It sometimes takes 24-48 hours from the PIP for the chick to hatch.
Hello Peter, thank you for your reply. I was watching, the shell was really rising there, it's nice - I wouldn't notice it at all. Have a nice day.
You're welcome, Marcelo, the eagle could get out of the shell at night, but it probably won't be easy compared to its siblings, it will have to fight a lot. I also wish you a nice day 🙂
Hello. 22.9. camera time 14.36.- the whole family up close. The chicks are very pretty 🙂 🙂 Last egg still nothing.
21.9 - 01:13:30 the second chick hatched!
Hello Petro, 21.9. camera time 14.38.- the young have a close look at the world and the egg. I'm not sure, it looks a little cracked. I would like to ask what is the probability that the chicks will hatch depending on how the eggs were laid. It's just a difference of a few days. Thank you for answer.
Hello Marcelo, on the third egg there is a half of the shell of the second egg strung, but there is a crack in front of the shell, the third chick hatches. The eggs hatch gradually as they were laid, thanks to the remote incubation (full incubation is only after the whole laying), then there is not such a difference between them as in the laying. Sometimes it happens that even 2 chicks hatch in one day, or only with a minimal time difference. There is a greater chance that the parents will raise all the young and there will not be such a great rivalry between them.
