Barn Owl - description
The barn owl is a night hunter with perfect hearing. It is noticeable especially due to the heart-shaped veil around the eyes. It is the most common species of owl on all continents. He hunts mainly at dusk and at night. The prey eats the whole, fur, feathers and other indigestible parts, as well as other owls, it gets rid of them by expelling them in the form of cone-shaped outbursts.
The barn owl produces permanent steam, which usually remains true to the nesting site. The flow begins in February or March, depending on climatic conditions, and both partners hear piercing hoarse screams during it.
The mortality of the barn owl in the first year of life is high and can reach up to 72%. The main cause of the decline of the barn owl is significant changes in the cultural agricultural landscape, leading to a lack of suitable nests and food. High mortality occurs regularly during severe snowy winters, to which it is more susceptible than other owls due to its lower ability to accumulate storage fat and poor insulating ability of plumage. Along with the increase in road traffic, the number of birds killed by vehicles is also increasing significantly.

Owl's nest - live

Discussion
The smallest young man unfortunately did not manage to die at night.
Now they have a mouse in the nest, but the female does not feed. The smallest couple of times he walks, he probably does not manage to be terribly tiny.
So we have a mouse for dinner. The smallest one rushed, but suddenly the largest mouse snatched it from its beak. But he can't "slice" yet, so he just lay down on it. The chicks are all in the corner, the female is not slicing, so they are not having dinner yet.
Now I've seen all four. Two are a lot of chickens, the third is a bit smaller, but the fourth is really terribly malucky. It's big like a hungry chicken. I do not know if she can handle it.
So I fix it, the chicks are really 4, one to huge against two smaller ones (they are the same size) and then there is the crap!
I've been trying to find out for the fourth time for two days. The oldest one is as big as a chicken, the other is just a little smaller, the third is a real shit. I did not catch them when feeding, so I do not know if the smallest, if it's fourth, does not eat at meal.
I do not see the fourth one now, but the two under my mom are the oldest half. Can not the oldest throw or eat?
The owl is a night bird, but now it's day and light, and chicks are deserted. So where and why did the owl fly?
It should be from California and it's dark now.
The camera was against the entrance and there was light! I know there are also time shifts, so I take the time, not according to our hours.
Here's just a jerk. I wonder what the females did with the dead third chick? And why are they walking? Is that counting?
These are the most funny chicks. I was already staring at the owl nest, then the camera was canceled. There was one big cub. It was one leg and it was eternally asleep, but as my mother brought me food, our eagles screamed and jumped.
So we have four hungry necks. And they are heard, now it will be interesting observation.
I look for the third cub in vain. Again, there is an original camera, so you can see one more egg and two lawns. There was nothing to see with the opposite camera, just the back of the female.
One is in the corner and two are under the mother next to the egg.
The smallest went on a trip to her mother. Others feed on. But the smallest I ever saw at the half shell. When the females pushed in her, the cub was not there. So maybe he's still coming up.
Three chicks feed, two eggs are still visible. It's good to see this time.
So there is a mouse for the snack, and I see three heads, so we'll see more in the evening again.
So I can not see an egg anymore, but it is not possible to count all the pieces. Who sees better?
There are still three eggs and two pricks. The females turned them first and then went to dinner. Maybe tomorrow.
So the three eggs are all, I already thought they were two, but it was only my femaIy. In the morning they fed youngsters, now they can not see or hear.
While I was writing, the male brought a great deal of meat. The females are struggling with it, and I'm afraid that the two dickens will not send the two dicks in the nest and the eggs will not be damaged. 23.30
Today, the females, while standing, have their backs turned, so they do not see much there, but there are also the second chick and the three eggs. So we'll see tomorrow if there is another. 23.20 hrs
I also noticed the feathers. It looks like a bigger bird. You brought it to your nest as a litter.
This is how the young live, the female feeds him from large pieces, both of them are wearing. The female calls the "bubbling" cub. It happened at 14.30 pm our time.
Around 13 rolls of our time, the females hold the bones in the beak with the head and the male is like a cock on it. The female just cries as she disappears, making strange sounds. After 10 min. leaves completely outside the nest, is not visible and then checks the eggs. The young can not be seen, a long queen appeared in the nest in the morning, but it is not clear who they are from.
It's 8 hour of our time, the cub is trying to get out of the nest, there are still four eggs left. I have not seen a females feeding a male.
22.11 eggs are still airing, the owl is more worth sitting than, the cub beeps occasionally. The next one, nothing yet. It is not even possible to see that parents are changing in the seating.
Good evening, seated in eggs, parents do not change, only a female who carries food in the nest of a male is sitting.
It's 21.52 of our time, it's not sitting on the eggs, but it looks like the club is another offspring. So we'll see!
How long does that owl live without food?
In our time 19.08 she stepped on the cub and it "weeps" strangely. She stood for a long time, finally she began to turn the eggs and she also sat her ass with the camera at 19.13.
Just when I looked, my mother was stretched out. I could see the baby too. Unfortunately, the camera is not very good, the picture is blurred. But I do not know.
I did not see a boy, the owl equaled about three eggs under herself in our time 18.56
So there are 4 eggs and one cub. It was clearly visible.
Pity the transmission was over. The little owl was terribly funny
