Ears - a description
Kalous eared is a medium-sized owl from the family of puškovité brown and black color with characteristic prolonged plumage around the ear holes, thanks to which it gained its name in many world languages.
In the Czech Republic it is one of the most abundant and widespread owls ever. Its natural biotope is predominantly sparsely populated open cultural landscapes, which is often held in forests during the day.
