Barn Owl - description
The Owl's Nest is part of a civil science study conducted by GAIA, WBAIS and the Charter of the Wildlife Ecology Group (The Shamir Research Institute and the Institute of Geography and Environmental Science at the University of Haifa). The project is funded by the US Embassy in Israel, a private donor and the GAIA project. A pair of barn owls breed in a nest that was built in high school. The male is a lighter / whiter owl and the female is browner / darker.
