African eagle owl - webcam
African eagle owl - description
The nest of African vines is located on the balcony of the house in Johannesburg, South Africa.
2008 has been returning a few breeds to the nest each year, where they raise their offspring.
Medium-sized owl, one of the smallest breeds at all. The adult couple is very aggressive in defending the hunting territory. They feed on invertebrates, small vertebrates, birds, frogs and occasionally also carnivores.
The African production is 15 to 20let, the wingspan can reach one meter but weighs only 500 to 750 grams.

31.7. Updates
Hi all PPO followers.
I don't have good news. We haven't heard or seen an owl in the area for more than 6 weeks. Normally, Pappa would start nesting behavior soon after our longest night, 21. June.
I don't have any news this time. If we hear or see it, we will post an update.

Updating Pot Plant Owl
Thursday afternoon there was a complete Internet malfunction. We now have a new service provider, but I need a technician to reinstall my webcam.
I can assure you that keeping a webcam running 24 hours a day, 7 days a week is not easy.
We do everything we can.
New camera - there are two chicks in the nest.
The female laughed two eggs that did not catch. The young were handed over to adoption from the Owls Research Institute in Africa.
