Once a week we'll let you know about the most important happenings happening in front of the cameras.
Sound isn't just me?
Unfortunately, there is no sound at the camera
18:49 - There were two of them for a few seconds. But it probably won't be his partner, because he was expelled immediately and didn't even allow himself to sit down.
Repair - 18:46

Super photo, another who would like to settle in the nest.
Apparently Mr. Stork or Mrs. Stork (I am not able to discern them, although according to the perennial breeding it might be merciful Mrs. Stork) look for their partner.
And personally, I'm glad to be holding on to the nest. It looks hopeful. ;O)
So far, a good sign is that today's stork in the nest sleep. So it might not be just a glimpse. ;O)
1.4. - 16:28 - A stork landed on the nest. She's starting to clean up! So what will he do with the "rock" vegetation?

Great photo Alfi, thanks 🙂 You will know this is home?
We just speculated with the kids if it wasn't by chance last year.
There was also one squirrel - a latecomer, who at first did not want to fly much and did exactly the same with the wings as today's.

No, it certainly won't, the young storks don't return to their nesting grounds. The storks come back here to reproduce and for that they need a certain age. Young storks remain in Africa.
I understand that it's unlikely.
But neither the mom nor the dad did the wingbreaking last year, and out of the four butts only one (one) broke the wings. ;O)
Certainly it will not be last year's chick. Last year's chick would not have such a beautifully colored beak and as I wrote, the chicks do not return here for the first year. Too bad it's not ringed to find out where it comes from. We'll see tomorrow whether he'll be on the nest. Maybe it's a resident male.
31.3. So where are our storks?
Even in Dubný I have not seen any stork in the nest, we are still waiting for them.
30.3 Stork nest live again !!
Well, cute glass. ;O))
rock garden
Great! Only the stork is still missing…
25.3 Transmission from the stork's nest in Uhersky Brod is scheduled for March 30th
Today I saw a stork flying over Brod around the nest. I haven't seen it in the nest yet - sometimes I look through binoculars from the balcony. I don't know when the camera will start, now the city is definitely busy…
Work for municipal alman.
- call the property owner to plug in the power supply of the camera = 10 minutes
- activate camera = 10 minutes
- run the line on youtube = 10 minutes
- report all-day work activity = 10 minutes
He should be able to do it with a cup of coffee and a cigar in the yard. ;O)
Hello Alfi, unfortunately the camera is not running yet, It is full of other nests that can be traced online. Perhaps the camera will be triggered here. It's not just a click and the camera goes. There are many other problems at the moment.
12.3. The cameras at the nests gradually turn on. When in Brod?
There they launched the camera around 20 March last year.
Last year the storks arrived in UB on 22 March.
But this year spring comes earlier and we can expect an early arrival of storks.
There are more than 30 recorded arrivals across our country: http://www.birdlife.cz/capi/
And that's why the camera could already be started.
Acta est fabula; o)
Well, yesterday the old stork still walked abandoned around the nest… and I also heard a stork clap here and there during the weekend (I live about 300m from the nest), but there was usually no one on the nest - they were probably preparing for departure somewhere nearby…
Thank you for your information 🙂
Friends,
thank you all for the company. We have successfully "brought up" the cones together and they are now flying wherever they want. So either see you in half a year, or on this portal with our family we will have to look for other starting and forming feathered families. ;O)

Alfi, thank you for the comments and information you shared about the stork family. We will be eagerly expecting parents in the spring, hopefully they will return.
21.8. only two cappuccinos were sleeping overnight on the nest
19.8. 21: 25 only two Caps are in the nest for the night
Tonight in the nest only three storks. Yesterday afternoon, a little squirt did not return.
One young man has been missing for three days.
only the local residents would know if the chick was staying somewhere on the roofs outside the nest. It would be a great pity for something to happen to him.
It is also possible that he joined the flock and is already flying south.
10.8.19 chicks leave in the morning and leave food on the nest, apparently for a big enough.
By the way, because the link to live streaming is constantly changing, it might be better to use this one that ends in "/ live" (channel / ??? / live):
https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC9Fkog5RPkbLQ8HfyUYfeng/live
If a live broadcast is running, it will be available on the link (I just don't know how it will turn out when there are more live broadcasts - but it happens once a year in Hungary, when there is a council meeting, so it probably doesn't matter that much yet).
5:17:25 - Mass start and they are all in …… ..; o)
The broadcast only works on Youtube, and it's definitely a live stream. 8.8.2019/17/18, time XNUMX:XNUMX: - four squirrels and two gradually fly away on the nest.
17:24:00 - the return of the two and there are all four. Live broadcast.

15: 15 transmission online again!
Streaming works only on Youtube.

Hello, Alfi doesn't even go to YT, it's a record.
Well, we're without stork family today. ;O(
5.8.19 nest empty, everyone is flying
5.8. 07: 47: 46 Emilka dared to fly out of her nest
So Emilka Four (Emilia cuarta) was left abandoned and unhappy for an hour.
7: 47: 30 approx. after half-minute intervals, three jobs leave to investigate UB
8: 13: 42 a little brother circling around an abandoned Emilka, lands and Emilka cries that she doesn't fly because she has little wings (the scene is moving)
8: 43: 50 Emperor desperately tries to fly jumps around the nest. The others are probably watching her from a distance, because within two minutes everyone will return to her; o)
6: 05: 18 and 6: 05: 50 Two jobs fly out, fly toward Lido, and go long to watch.
6: 09: 24 and 6: 10: 04 again two birds fly out, but 6: 10: 36 arrives parent feed, so one squad lands immediately and in 6: 12: 20 arrives the other.
That's how two fly. 06: 04: 01 Start one. After twenty seconds return, and then immediately starts the second and circling around the nest to 06: 06: 33
9: 37: 35 Another short half-minute flight. But the landing will need to refill. ;O)
31.7. So they begin, the first flew, so they will gradually leave the next nest. They are not hungry, mice do not like them, so they will look for something else themselves. It turned out well with the four chicks. I still remember last year.
The first stork today 7: 56: 22 flew out of the nest. The second looked pretty shocked 🙂
Great! Happy as he swirled around the nest and the other three danced around. ;O))
31. 7. 8:48:20 - The return of the first pilot to the general commotion of other storks
8: 48: 22 return from the first flight. Probably managed to explore the whole Uherský Brod. And right in front of the others, he shows them what to do with their wings, so that they fly too. ;O))
30.7.- 20.43 So I caught the evening feeding. They expected what it would be, and they were voles. At first they were stacked side by side and eventually they would have to consume them. Few have disappeared, two mice are still turning over, but it would probably want fish.
My point is that it wouldn't want fish, and it wouldn't want anything. More precisely, it would want hunger. Young birds in general (storks should work the same way) drive the hunger from the nest. Parents reduce feeding (more or less naturally because they are no longer able to do it) and from the distance they paint for the first flight. I think it happened to our little ones a few days back. Feeding was limited to a maximum of once a day in the morning. But the rain or the inexperience of the parents had it. It started to rain and the parents started feeding them again. But the full belly of the young does not make it fly.
29.7. - So this week, one should fly into town. When I play them, I don't see any big training. Only the voles for feeding are either less or more. So I look forward to leaving the nest.
